Project Overview

The property formerly referred to as Country Club Apartments was desperate for upgrades and attention to significant deferred capital needs. Cubed Construction teams took occupancy at the property and performed a programmatic renovation of the entire complex in under 11 months. Units featured new kitchens, baths, floors, paint, additions of washers and dryers and new HVAC systems. Every building received a new facade, windows and porches and the entire parking lot was milled and resurfaced.

Project Outcome

In order to immediately generate cash flow for ownership, Cubed delivered units in a tiered manner so tenants could take occupancy as the project was underway. The Cubed team also worked with ownership to create an aesthetic plan and brand that mimicked the Chicago luxury apartment market. The community was branded “The Bristol (Sophisticated Apartment Living)” and Cubed and ownership received recognition from the City of Elkhart and the local police for our efforts in making the property safe and habitable.
