Drew grew up in Orion, a farm town in western Illinois. This is where he developed a small town work ethic, a sense of community and an appreciation for a positive outlook on life. Drew headed from one corn field to another by attending the University of Illinois in Champaign and majoring in civil and environmental engineering.
After graduation Drew joined AECOM as an engineering consultant designing and building large roadway projects such as Lakeshore Drive and the I-55/I-64 interchange in St. Louis. Drew also earned his PE, Professional Engineering license while practicing engineering at AECOM.
Three years into his engineering career Drew caught the real estate bug when he read Rich Dad Poor Dad. For the next four years Drew worked as an engineer during the day and his nights and weekends consisted of writing the business plan and building the infrastructure for a fully integrated real estate firm. In 2009 Drew made the plunge to full time real estate and launched 33 from his kitchen table.
Now, nine years into the firm’s existence, Drew concentrates heavily on company strategy, vision, infrastructure as well as new business initiatives. Outside of work Drew loves spending time with his family and friends. He coaches is his two children in multiple sports and remains active in his community.
