Project Overview

The owner of Chicago Strength, a highly successful crossfit gym that started in River North, selected Cubed among a bidding pool of 5 other contractors to retrofit this raw warehouse space. The space was gutted to the dirt and equipped with all new mechanical, plumbing, electrical and structural systems. The facade was recreated and fitted with a retractable garage door system that provided an industrial aesthetic while achieving necessary ventilation requirements.

Project Outcome

The gym opened in early 2021 and membership appeared almost immediately. Punch list items and warranty call back were minimal thereby eliminating any inconveniences for the owner or his patrons. In the spring of 2021, the owner approached Cubed to upgrade his existing River North location following the success of this project.
