James spent much of his childhood living in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and moved to Chicago to attend Roosevelt University after graduating high school. Years later, James entered the real estate business in one of the least likely places he could have ever imagined, his college dorm. Transitioning directly from being a dormitory "RA," James began working in his apartment building's management office as an unpaid intern, which was just the beginning of his journey in real estate. Currently, James holds an Illinois real estate broker's license and is a member of both CAR and NAR. James has spent his career managing everything from South Loop condos to three-flat renovations on the South Side. Before coming to 33, James managed a full portfolio of 400+ commercial and residential units in the Chicagoland area. Having spent many years in the housing industry, James brings a level head and an abundance of unique experiences to the table and it shows in his tenant and owner relations. James is excited to continue his journey with 33 and help investors, at many levels, continue to build and/or maintain their hard-earned asset(s) through hard work and professional property management. When not at work, James enjoys spending time with his family.
In 2013, James was invited to and attended The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
