Stacy grew up in the suburbs of Detroit and is a proud graduate of the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where she received a BBA with a concentration in Finance & Accounting. Stacy is a Registered Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois. Stacy's interest in real estate began with her involvement in the restructuring of a commercial real estate company earlier in her career.
While working on the restructuring case, which was the largest turnaround of a real estate investment trust (REIT) in US history at the time, she learned a great deal about asset management, complex corporate & financing structures that are common in REITs and how to analyze commercial real estate in the context of preparing asset valuations. Stacy is motivated by the dynamic work environment that exists at 33/Cubed. Being part of a company that is growing at a fast pace means that opportunities are constantly presenting themselves for improvement – and making an impact on the success of those around her with the collective effort of her colleagues is something that Stacy values as a professional.
She credits her colleagues at 33/Cubed for the tremendous amount of professional growth that she has experienced since joining 33/Cubed as CFO in 2012. As CFO, Stacy is responsible for the financial strategy, planning and reporting at 33/Cubed. Her deep expertise in financial reporting, strategic planning, complex financial modeling & due diligence is rooted in more than two decades of corporate finance and accounting experience. Prior to joining 33/Cubed, Stacy was a Managing Director in FTI Consulting’s (“FTI”) Corporate Finance Practice where she had the opportunity to work on several high profile restructuring cases. Stacy’s experience at FTI included working in a financial advisory lead capacity in conducting in-depth business plan reviews, implementing liquidity management procedures, building complex financial statement models used to evaluate the financial implications of various strategic alternatives, analyzing debtor solvency and performing financial due diligence of multi-national conglomerates for potential investors and equity sponsors in various industries.
Stacy's work experience also includes working in the Transaction Services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers (“PwC”) where she advised private equity clients on potential transactions. Stacy is a true competitor at heart. When she's not at work, you will find her on a tennis court where she is constantly working on improving her tennis game in the hopes of beating her husband.... someday. She can also often be found on the sidelines of a sporting event proudly cheering on her two daughters. Stacy also has a passion for traveling and loves to explore new places with her family.
Stacy is fluent in Greek and makes a mean spanakopita. Opa!
